I would tend to think that something was changed between the previous firmware and this firmware. As I noted I had no problems before. The resolution the PCH picked was perfect. Ratio was perfect too when set to auto.

the issue with the a2000 isn't a zoom issue. change it to fit/full screen/crop or actual size made no difference.

if this isn't a problem it is gonna make moving the PCH around the house a lot harder.

You have to select "fit to screen" and set "TV-type" to 16:9

I have done all that, but still I can't change the aspect ratio.
I'm loading the file Band.Of.Brothers.2001.1080p.HDDVD.x264-hV, and it's in full screen. I can't change it, and before installing the new firmware I had no problem with the first 7 episodes.

I have exactly the same thing and I'm already in fit to screen + 16/9.
And with the previous firmware I was allways able to set the proper ratio !

I also have problems with "TV-Type" set to 16:9 using PAL S-VHS output on a CRT-TV. All 16:9 anamorphic iso DVD are letterboxed in a 4:3 image... (same results in Crop, Fit to screen, Full Screen or Actual Size).
Is the TV-Type/Zoom mode only effective on HDMI output ?

You have been able to hear DTS all the time when your files had DTS sound.
The DTS talk is about being able to decode DTS on the PCH to play DTS when connect to a TV only, without the use of an external amp.

previously this was not possible for DTS - it is now.

just to share some experience with new update....Like update before i used usb stick, everything passed ok till installation of nmt software, than usb stick was not recognized (after reboot), i tryed puling it out and in with no success. Only thing that worked at that time was update over the network....Dts working normally .And one other thing...Auto tv mode doesn t work properly, now is zooming picture.....

Firmware upgrade went fine but I am no longer to map the share drive manually. NMT sees the network and all the share drives but just can't map them. I roll back to the older firmware, dated 09/12, mapping the share drives without any problem.
Does anyone have the same problem of mapping the share drives with this latest firmware?

This is definately a great update for my A110.

1: Photos i can see play automagic this time with the time interval. (played 1 before then black screen)
2: DTS over HDMI "PCM" available to get sound. (without having to convert the stuff and remux myself)
3: Finally i can see the internal disk when connected to PC via the USB-PC connector on Vista.
I haven been trying it a whole day long with older firmware wasting my time.
Vista installs / search divers on connect this time and i can see it after assign a drive letter with IFS
drives control panel (Ext2IFS_1_11a.exe installed before). Speed copying files just above 10MB/sec
from pc to internal disk 1TB Samsung
4: theres more but i have to discover it later today
5: Now i am happy that i have changed the A100 for this A110 at last.
