Hello again

I'm trying to increase some values in the settings.json file in .transmission folder.

Original
"max-peers-global": 300,
"max-peers-per-torrent": 100,
"peer-limit-global": 240,
"peer-limit-per-torrent": 60,

What I want
"max-peers-global": 1000,
"max-peers-per-torrent": 120,
"peer-limit-global": 800,
"peer-limit-per-torrent": 100,

I save the file and if i reopen, it's changed correctly.

The problem is that when i stop and start the torrent service, the file is as the original again.

What i'm doing wrong?

Don't change settings while Transmission is running, when it terminates it writes the configuration including some stats back, so it will overwrite what you have changed in the meantime.

Do you know anything about my other question?

I'm trying to add the Gaya interface "http://localhost.drives:8883/HARD_DISK/transmission-nmt/index.cgi" but nothing appears.

I'm not sure if I have to fill "localhost.drives" with some date.

Do you own a B-110? If so: replace the HARD_DISK part with SATA_DISK.

Very strange, but somehow Beta4 is slower then Beta3 for me.

No, I have an A-100

Another problem for me is this.

A file is downloading and also uploading but one is finished, the status is seeding and the uploading speed is 0 (suddenly the peers are from 0 to 2)

I have the following problem:
The changes I do apply on the 1.42 transmission, preferences, dowload to, are not saved after rebooting.
I'm ussing an external USB ext3 HDD, and the settings were working with the 1.22 (original version).
I'm ussing the following "/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/USB_DRIVE_A-1/Download/"

Any help on this?

I think that it was my last problem and as vaivel told me, you have to stop the service before doing changes.

Thanks DoUrden, but If I stop the TORRENT service from PCH setup, I can not acces the transmission clutch, as I do the changes on the setup of the transmission clutch menu and after apply "SAVE".
Should I do the changes in another way like modify some data in a file. If so, please let me know which file is.
I will check tonight to se if the file "settings.json" have the data I need to keep unchanged.

I am running the 01-17-090116-15-POP-402 on A-100, and have installed the 00-17-090115-15-POP-402 apps and then installed the Transmission version 1.5b4. In the beginning everything worked as a charm, but after a while download speed went down the drain. I was initially experiencing 199 kbps down on my 2mbit line, but now I am lucky if there is 20kbps down. I am also experiencing that the web interface can be very difficult to access. It takes a long time to load and sometimes it times out. When I access the interface from the NMT is self I only see four of my 8 running torrents and it's not possible to browse to the next page (1-4/0).
The interface and the available functions on the 1.5b4 would make it a perfect torrent client if only it was stable.

Hi,
I am trying to install Transmission 1.42, but when I select "Install Transmission 1.42" from the html file I get black screen.
The player stops responding but I have access via network.
I tryed several times and get same result - black screen.
I have installed this application for many times on other player I am familiar with the process. This is the first time when I have any problems with it.
THe player is PCH-A-100 with latest firmware.
