The TVNZB script has changed name to FeedTime
To help avoid confusion, with posts that already refer to TvNZB, I've started a new thread for FeedTime here

Post any FeedTime questions in the new thread.

Hi, yellow360f, thanks for looking. I'm a little confused,

Is this when you first try to run it via TV interface?

I took the files off my running system, and the tvnzb.html definitely points to Apps/tvnzb/tvnzb.cgi (just rechecked the tar file)

Could you post the action you are doing when you get the error?

Also has anyone tried it and got it working? Or is it broken for everyone?
Or do I have an audience of one

and it didn't work.

I didn't try it via the TV.

Where do i tell it to download what shows/etc?

is there a way to do it through the PC like torrentwatch?

Hi Before you can use it on the PC you have to run it once via the TV. This is part of the install process, after that you can use the PC.

I did click start and got the hourglass circle and that was it.

can you schedule shows using the PC like Torrentwatch does?

Hi,
Have you done the following step:

"On the TV Browse to 'Apps' folder, then the 'tvnzb' folder, and then on the remote select file mode (blue button) and then select the 'tvnzb.html' "

Once you do this you shold be ale to get the web page up on your PC.

Once you get it running it will search the alt.binaries.tv newsgroup
for patterns that you supply.

Alternatively it can be configured to search the RSS feed at tvnzb.com.

For people that prefer non-english rips then they can change the group from alt.binaries.tv to something else by changing the Newsleech group number from '420' to the one for you favourite group. eg.
See group list here : http://www.newzleech.com/?b=1

There may be scope for adding multiple feeds if there is demand.

There is one missing feature - you have to re-activate the PC url after a reboot. I will fix this soon, by hooking into /share/start_app.sh etc (all that is required is creation of a symlink).

If you already have a start_app.sh on your internal drive the missing lines
to add below #M_A_R_K_E_R_do_not_remove_me are

Hi,
To install the application you must go to the TV to the
Apps' folder, then the 'tvnzb' folder, and then on the remote select file mode (blue button) and then select the 'tvnzb.html'
You only need to do this once. [Actually after each reboot but I'll be fixing that soon]

You must do the above step once. I think you have done it already because you have seen the page on your TV.

Once you have done that you can then access it via the PC using the PCH ipaddress http://You_popcorns_ip_address:8883/tvnzb.cgi
eg
http://192.168.1.72:8883/tvnzb.cgi

If its not working then I'm not quite sure what is wrong.
Linux is case sensitive so the folder inside 'Apps' must be called 'tvnzb' (all lower case). If it is called for example 'Tvnzb' it wont work.
I'm not quite sure whats happening. Maybe start again making sure app uppercase/lowercase match exactly, and following all steps.

Let me know how you get on was your feed back will help improve my instructions (and installation scripts ).

Overall to get it running:
1) Copy the files to the exact directory mentioned Apps/tvnzb
2) Go to the tvnzb.html file ONCE on the TV.
3) Now access via http://192.168.1.3:8883/tvnzb.cgi (replacing the ip address with your popcorns)

I'll try and make a script that is easier to install.

Hi, interesting that the data folder was missing. I'll investigate.
It should pickup the next episode automatically.

In my case the data folder was also missing, but that was caused by the WinRar setting "do not extract paths".

First off, Let me say that is an awesome idea. Thanks for putting this together.

I haven't gotten it working yet. Here's where I'm at.

I've got the program installed and running.

I can access the web client.

I edited the search list.

If I test my seach with 10 pages I get:

22:31 Sat 22 Nov : Completed mode=TEST : last link = http://www.newzleech.com/?m=gen&dl=1&post=8259024
1 matches for < testees.s01.*x264 >
1 matches for < the.mentalist.s01.*x264 >

So, I know the nzb's are out there.

When I click Process Feed Now with 10 pages I get this:

22:32 Sat 22 Nov : Completed mode=LIVE : last link = http://www.newzleech.com/?m=gen&dl=1&post=8259024

And nothing else happens. No NZB is retrieved.

Does anyone have this actually working?
