A-110 - Popcorn Hour Loading time

My PH A-110 takes approximately 01:10 minutes to load and show the source screen and then goes to home screen after 5 seconds. Is this normal, can I speed up this process? I found with my friend's PS3 loading time is very minimal compared to my PH (sorry to have mention this).

Since both the UI are based on linux, is there any possibility to reduce the loading time in future firmware upgrades?

I haven't timed my A110's loading time, but it does take a bit to load. I'm wondering as well if it's possible to optimize the loading time in the firmware code.

I just leave both of mine(an Elektron and a HDX 1000) on standby and they come up in a matter of seconds. If I turn them off, then it does take long to boot up.

This has been asked for ever since the PCH was released. Funnily enough the share load time was slower.

I used to have 3 shares and ended up redesigning my storage to erduce it to one share and as Reggie220 does - I leave ti at the main share whenever I turn it off.
