[MPEG] MPEG-2 Video in MP4 Container?
I have searched around the forums and haven't found an answer for this. Does the A-100 formally support playing back MPEG-2 video in an MP4 container?

Some Sony cameras output MPEG-2 video with 2 channel PCM audio in an MP4 container which do not play with the latest Beta 3 firmware. However, remuxing to MPEG-2 program stream does solve the issue, so the MPEG-2 video does not seem to be an issue. Here is the MediaInfo report from one such file:

General / Container Stream # 1

It appears that MPEG-2 playback is limited to MPEG program streams, MPEG transport streams and MPEG-2 elementary streams - all of which are standard implementations. It does seem that MPEG-2 in the MP4 container is a supported according to the specifications of the container:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP4

Would it be possible to implement support for MPEG-2 in the MP4 container if it is not already planned? I appreciate Syabas's support of standardized video formats and hope that something like this may be possible in the future. Thanks!
