Topfield TF7700HSCI HD-Stream
Dear Members of this Forum, dear Developper!

I'm a new owner of the NMT A110 and generally all work fine.
TS-Stream recorded from my Dreambox DM7000 works perfekt.
The only I miss is, that the recorded HD-Video-Streams from my TOPFIELD TF7700HSCI (recorded on external USB-Disk) will not even be seen (and therefore also not played) by my A-110.
Would it be possible to implement this in a future update of the firmware?

Best Regards.

Give us a bit more of a clue, what is the file extension, run a file through mediainfo and let us know the results.

Hi Daniel!

First of all the File-names, extensions and size are:
(Duration 20 Min, 1827 MB on TF7700HSCI-Recording Info)

HD Demo.001 331.632 KB
HD Demo.add 3 KB
HD Demo.idx 188 KB
HD Demo.ifo 5 KB
HD Demo.rec 1.540.096 KB

Then I run it though "MediaInfo_GUI_0.7.8_Windows_i386" and the result is:

RE: Topfield TF7700HSCI HD-Stream
It doesnt seem out of spec so if its fixed it should play, have you tried running it through TSDoctor which is good with these stream recordings:-
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...t=tsdoctor

A400: SD Card(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD ROM (SH-B083L(SB01)), HDMI
CAT6 Wired Network: TV Panasonic TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407

RE: Topfield TF7700HSCI HD-Stream
Swap that .rec file to .ts
Swap that .001 file to .ts

Looks like a topfield naming convention, but the actual file is just a transport stream

(top job on the reporting too, makes it much easier to fault find)

RE: Topfield TF7700HSCI HD-Stream
Renaming .rec files to .ts files works for SD files from a Topfield 5xxxPVR(t), but they need to be taken off the toppy's hard drive first. Now, if only some clever person can find a way to stream straight off the toppy hard drive (perhaps with an update of some sort to ftpd-topfield).

Hi Daniel!

I renamed the files (without renaming 'TS Doctor' would not 'see' them):
HD Demo.rec -> HD Demo.ts
HD Demo.001 -> HD Demo.ts.001
run through 'TS Doctor 0.73 beta' and get the error: "No PAT found!"

This is the log:
-------------------------------------------
Opening file D:\Temp\__temp__\HD Demo.ts

Scanning for TRP fill packets
Scanning for PIDs
Found 5 different PIDs
$02FF: 92%
$0303: 3%
$0304: 3%
$0020: 1%
$0062: 0%

Scanning for PATs
Found 0 different PATs
Found 0 different PMT PIDs
No PAT found!
-------------------------------------------

Best Regards!

RE: Topfield TF7700HSCI HD-Stream
Will the PCH play the TS without using TS Doctor?

No, but it seems a bit strange:
PCH starts, put the message 'buffering' on TV, picture is dark, no sound, no error-message, automatic stops after 2min16sec (should be ~ 20min) and the PCH screen with the title 'HD Demo.ts' is again on TV.
