I'm assuming you're talking about Banditt's video? The 2nd one with YAMJ and podcasts, etc? Not sure about everyone else, but the speed looks just about right.


In other news, I made a small NON-RELEASE update. I'd like to know what everyone thinks about a full frame/width background for the home screen.

So what are you doing to get rid of the black bars?

Is each image (seat, weather) now part of the background file?

No, not exactly. The browser always makes the background distorted. I don't think there's any way around that.

There's a black background color/image taking care of that pesky left border. Then the background art over that. And finally, the text column over that.

Looks great whitout the black-bars!
But can we stil custimize the left menu? like before whit the psd file or like the xbox version whit an text file?

XBMC has the benefit of fonts and xml, etc, so editing a simple-text file is probably improbable.

I'll talk/collaborate with Banditt to see if editing the PSD file is easy enough.

Can you explain a little more on how you did this? PLEASE? I gotta know. Earlier today I actually told myself this would never be possible and have adjusted one of the projects I was working on because of it.

It's pretty much all tables. I haven't finalized the HTML yet, but for a start, look at my login.html. Same principles.

nah i don't think so. It basicly works the same as changing a image on screen...except you're changing the body background=

well the way the new mediastream skin is going 2 be makes a clock worth making
