Can I plug in external HDD without risk of loosing data?
Hi,
I would like to play media from my external USB HDD. But my HDD also contains some vital data that must not be overwriten or lost. My question is if PCH will try to (or require an) install software or format the drive when I plug it in? Should I worry? Thanks. |

No worry. I have plugged in 2.5" ext HDD and 3.5" ext HDD effortlessly and conurrently, and PCH detects the presence of these 2 USB ext HDD.
