Yes you will as DVD subtitles are graphic subs and like audio the instructions are in the vob.

For what you require I would seriously look at autoGK and its ripping of episodes from a DVD to AVi. They are only 350Mb per episode and can have subtitles in. You can also use playlists to play all 90 and if you use the S210 app I think you can via USB play from start. You can get into scripts and do that way aswell.

autoGK is dead simply to use do not be put off, leave most things at default and use it in conjunction with DVD Decrypter and you will have no problems:-

You can do all the episodes on a DVD in a batch job.

I recently ripped the battle star galactica set using this method. I had a problem though.

using the 'select default stream method', even though I had set the default stream to 5.1 surround, the PCH decided to use the stereo audio channel. Pressing the audio button then only scrolled through stereo, and mono and I could not access the surround audio channel on the PCH even though it was there.

4 episodes even produced a PCM track that was not playable on the PCH.

A work around is, once you have selected the appropriate titles, click 'compression settings' and remove the stereo track, leaving just the surround track (obviously this is if you want surround, if you just want stereo do the reverse), this way you save HDD space and ensure you get the right track.

Storage Options
C-200, A-110, DAS400, Denon 1909 via HDMI, TXP42X10, KEF Q3 and Q9C surround

Sounds like an update to the Guide is needed to suit the NMT's playback peculiarties and 5.1 and stereo. I wonder if on PCM it's like PCM in an MKV, you have to have a second track to be able to select it.

I think an update is needed... I've not a clue about the PCM stuff. it was very confusing as I didn't have a clue why I wasn't getting audio... There should have been both 5.1 AC3 and stereo AC3 but there wasn't anything...

I have updated, Gibbo I have shown the deselection in an earlier place with DVDShrink but it should still work as per your description.
