Maybe just a US thing, as I am in Germany & I am watching the trailer for the Pacific on my iPhone through YouTube as we speak. We are talking about the YouTube icon that was supplied on the iPhone, right?

I can also confirm that youtube dont work anymore.
Even youtube on internet from http://www.cfclan.nl/youtube/index.php wont work, get an error like: Code: Firefox kan inte hitta filen på http://v2.lscache6.c.youtube.com/videoplayback?ip=85.0.0.0&sparams=id,expire,ip,ipbits,itag,preq,algorithm,burst,factor&fexp=905002&algorithm=throttle-factor&itag=18&ipbits=8&burst=40&sver=3&expire=1269190800&key=yt1&signature=D1F5C75805D45FF73A6252594C691DEBD0DB1D0E.4B34160D914CE8807DE58C745632C518A218CBF8&factor=1.25&preq=yes&id=01246bcba1d0e78c. |

RE: YoutubeLite - UPDATED 06/10/2009
The reason youtubelite isn't working at the moment has 2 reasons:
1. Youtube blocked several ip ranges from known datacenter webservers I will 'fix' that by releasing a standalone package so youtubelite will run on a pc in your own network. I've tested that successfully last weekend. BUT, the second reason is that as of the latest C-200 beta firmware searching for a video generates an error, making it impossible to view a video using the youtubelite interface. I'm not going to release 2 different packages so i'm waiting to fix it for the current beta before releasing anything. RE: YoutubeLite - UPDATED 06/10/2009
So will it be possible to run the script on popcorns own webserver (A-100, A-150, C-200) or is there not enough power?
Otherwise there must be a nas or a pc running. |

RE: YoutubeLite - UPDATED 06/10/2009
Hmm, i think i might be able to create a csi package for it.. haven't thought of that yet as i don't use a hdd.. but with usb support for nmt apps in the c-200 i might start doing that.
Will look into that somewhere this week. Please read the A-Series or C-200 FAQ before posting, you may save time and find your answer |

This would be a great idea and help everyone of us who miss Youtube! I'm curious about it. |

RE: YoutubeLite - UPDATED 06/10/2009
Small update:
the latest beta has a new bug / feature that breaks the youtubelite interface. The good news is that i can work around it and i'll post a standalone package within an hour or so that will allow you to run Youtubelite on your pc and have your pch use it as a webservice (don't worry, instructions included). I'll look into the whole CSI thing some other time as my main goal is to get youtubelite up and running again. BUT, i might be able to come up with some instructions to run it on the readynas itself. Could you check if there's a webserver with php support running on it? If so, could you check (if you know how) if the 'curl' extension is enabled? PM me if you want to test the standalone package within an hour, it's working fine for me and need some guinnea pigs

RE: YoutubeLite - UPDATED 06/10/2009
Storm01 has successfully installed youtubelite on his ReadyNAS and i will post some documentation on how to do that.
In the meantime, windows users can download this: http://nmt.devna.nl/YoutubeLITE_v2.zip Extract it and run 'start.bat'. Allow access to the network if the firewall asks for it. Add the following as a webservice: http:// And voila, it should be working again ![]() Let me know if it works / doesn't work for you. Known issues: You can't fast forward / skip using left or right. This will not be fixed, deal with it
