Audio Mode setup on PCH A100
Hi,
I recently brought a AMP to hookup to my PCH A100 and in the audio mode settings I have changed DTS to Digital (RAW) settings. My question is do I change the other settings (AC3, AAC & WMA Pro) to Digital (RAW) as well? Thanks |

RE: Audio Mode setup on PCH A100
AC3 definitly. The others depend on what your receiver can do ?
Audio: Onkyo HT-S5100 7.1 (Coaxial) Video: Sony KLV-52W400a (HDMI) BD/DVD: Sony PS3 (HDMI) Remote: (Shaun looks over the fence and says): Yes, lots |

RE: Audio Mode setup on PCH A100
Link gives me an error.
From googling it looks like one of those Home Theatre setups. They are generally not as flexible as an amp/receiver and do not have as many inputs or decoding licenses. You have the A100 so need it to decode a DTS signal from the A100. You will have to try and see if it decodes AAC or WMA, but if you get no audio then change from Digital to Analogue. Make sure you have 5.1 in SETUP aswell. The manual was not much help but it didnt allay my worries im afraid. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
