"Bittorrent service is not running" - What does it

Everytime I try to reach the bittorrent client inside A-100 in my computer´s web browser - http://<my NMT IP adress>:8883/torrent/bt.cgi - I get this message:

Torrent Service Message: Bittorrent service is not running

What is happening ? Something with portforwarding ?

Try Setup -> NMT Applications. There should be an option to start bittorrent if it's not running.

Thank you for helping, I followed your tip, but the problem is that the start icon for torrent is grayed out and unaccessible to click. Do you know why this could be happening ?

I use torrent and I'm very happy to have this possibility, but there is NO way to turn it on or off ( the on/off button is not accesible in setup ). I have it On all the time but once it turned down after 10-15 mins after reboot. I think the problem was that I try to get VERY long file - > 25GB. I deleted it and now it's OK. Runns 24/7 more then 2 weeks.

A posibility to change name of ANY file on RW filesystem would be also great.
Pureftpd, that works inside, sometimes does not recognize filenames properly got by the torrent. I use it on my system also and checked this bug. It's true.

Copy-Paste file is quite good solution, but rename would be perfect!

I will check out the firmware release of my PH, and I will answer as soon as possible. Note that it was recently upgraded by the setup of PH itself.

Hi, I downloaded some torrents to my PC and put them into new folder called "Torrents" at my popcorn´s HDD. Then I load this torrent to Torrent downloader.. It writes that ist downloading now, but i am waiting almost 10mins and still nothing (0KB DOWNLOADed/UPLOADed) It only creates the folder Download and makes 0b files inside him .. I tried other torrents and other trackers but with the same reason.. My internet connection is working because I can play videos on YouTube and others but Torrent doesnt work for me .. Anyone has the same problem ?

//edit : after turn off and turn on again all works fine ! 8)

[PH] It takes a while, at least 10 minutes, for torrent function fully started and peer up connection.
