0. Assuming you installed ctorrent with CSI.
1. There is a "ctorrent_gaya" folder inside the zip. Put that folder into "Apps/AppInit/websites/".
2. Add Web service "cTorrent" with path "http://localhost:9999/ctorrent_gaya"
3. Now you can access it on TV under "Web services".
4. To access it from PC, use same URL http://localhost:9999/ctorrent_gaya, just instead of localhost use you PCH IP address, like http://192.168.0.2:9999/ctorrent_gaya

TODO:
- on TV selecting files to skip in torrent didn't work, on PC it worked, will check
- upload by URL
- upload of wget

Anyone still got this? The website seems for sale and I can't find the gaya interface anywhere else.

My problem right now is that YODCTCS doesn't seem to connect to ctorrent, I can't use the webgui no matter what I try, if I go to http://nmt:9002 I can login fine but I can't see downloading torrents or my harddisk space via summary.

Did ps auxlist via telnet already and both processes (dctcs and ctorrent) are running.
When I put something in the "watched" folder it starts downloading it, so ctorrent runs fine.
Installed ctorrent via community installer and via the installer from the website in post 1, no difference.
Also tried the debug version, no obvious errors.

Any ideas?

Hi guys!

I'm using YODCTCS on my Storex AivX-385HDRW, everything's fine and I can get it to work properly (seeding/downloading/hash checkin, etc.).
My only problem concerns the 2GB size limit for the downloaded files that cTorrent appears to have!
Bear in mind that I can download torrents of any size so long as each file in it is lower than 2GB (e.g.: I can download a torrent of 3GB containing 67 rar's of 50MB each; however, I cannot download a torrent containing a single 4GB MKV video file).

I do notice, however, that what I believe is the new version of cTorrent has fixed this problem (here).


So...

Does anyone know of a way of solving this? (on the version of cTorrent that doesn't allow >2GB files)
If fixing this on this version isn't possible (meaning: you can't download files larger than 2GB with the YODCTCS that you're using), does anyone know if it's possible and how to update the version of cTorrent that YODCTCS uses?

i got this too... C200 latest firmware install file through CSI,.

then tried installing ctorrent through ipkg too, but same result: no install...


in the install file itself there are some abnormalities:

1) HARD_DISK must be SATA_DISK for 200-series

2) the JSON file does not exist in C200 series, that explains the lot.

My guess is, that this App is out-of-date for C200 users. but correct meif i am wrong pls.


would like to have it though because of the watch folder functionality.

can anyone help us out ?

I hope that someone is still reading this. I've read the first 5 pages or so of this thread and did not have the time to read the rest of them, so I'd appreciate if someone could answer the following questions:

1) Session stats of torrents seem to be reset after a restart. Meaning that if at some point I have a torrent with ratio 0.50 (meaning that I have given 1 byte for every 2 received), this stat will be reset to zero after a pch reboot! This is what I am experiencing anyways. Is it the expected behaviour for the enhanced-ctorrent port to nmt? I can see that transmission does not reset the stats after a pch restart.

This essentially means that if I have set a torrent stop criterion of 1.1 ratio, then most likely this will never be reached, since I am turning my pch off everytime I stop watching movies.

2) I have a very strange issue with logging in. As is, I am completely unable to login in with the greek Firefox 9.0.1, with the greek IE 9 I received authentication errors and the only browser that logs in succesfully is the greek version of Chrome. I have a hunch that this has something to do with the localized browsers. Anyone else encountered this?

In any case, #2 is not the real issue for me. It is the first problem described above. If I manage to have enhanced-ctorrent keep the stats of my sessions, I'll drop transmission altogether...
