RE: SN-HD101 with screen and remove HDD slot, nobody like it?
I don't know if this is the good forum, but I can't find an other forum.
I bought a new CVJI-E49 1080P HD Network Media Tank (Suno SN-HD101). Both are the same I think.
I am very happy with it. I have a samsung HD154UI F2 Eco Green 1,5 TB harddisk inside.
I have a few problems with it.
I made in de earlier day's video's with my old fotocamera and now with my new camera.
Both video types are not playing by de NMT.
The first is a AVI (320 x 240 25fps) file and the other is MOV (1280 x 720 25fps) file. I think these are supported?
An other problem is when I am playing a photo slide show with around 350 jpeg (jpg) photos in a directory the slide show stops to change pictures on the TV.
I cannot say when it stops, sometimes after 45 pictures and sometimes earlier.
When I playing the slide show on my laptop througth the network its OK.
The fan inside the NMT is a bit noisy. Is it possible to switch off the fan?

I have this versions in my NMT:
FirmwareVersion: 50-17-090202-15-AMS-402-000
KernelVersion: 50-AMS
NMT Version: 00-17-090115-15-AMS-402

Is there maybe a new firmwareversion or NMT version.
Have someone more suggestions??
Please help.

RE: SN-HD101 with screen and remove HDD slot, nobody like it?
I forgot an other point.
The NMT use 80 seconds when it is ready for use. Is there no button for standby of or direct start so that it takes not so long time?

RE: SunoHD - Everything sunoHD in here please.
Thnx for the info chris!

But the problem generated by the error on the page, is that, the update is not completed successfully and now not pass the LOADING screen, I can´t get to setup, and I can´t reloading the firmware...now the suno is dead Dodgy

Someone known otherwise to load the firm?

thanks to all guys.

RE: SunoHD - Everything sunoHD in here please.
I changed the small fan to another one with a low noise. I used the Scythe Mini Kaze Silent 40mm. In the specification the fan has a low noise level of 14.00 dBA. I bought also a Zalman Fan Mate 2 Adjustable fan speed controller. This controller I didn't use because after I changed the fan the noise level was acceptable. Maybe in de future I can build it in. The controller have 3 wires and the fan only 2 wires. I opened the controller but it can be used for 2 wires. The third wire is the +5V and not used for the controller. If you use the +12V and ground (0V) it works also.
The site plate where de fan was connected I turned 180 degrees because the connection for the fan didn't fit. It doen't matter because it's the same. The new fan I connected with double sided tape.
I saw for the popcorn hour that there is a new firmware. I hope there will be also new firmware for the CVJI-E49 or Suno HD101.

RE: SunoHD - Everything sunoHD in here please.
But the CVJI-E49 is unlicensed and pays no fees to Syabas for firmware updates. That's why you won't get support from SunoHD for a start and certainly not from Syabas. This forum is also financed from these same revenue streams.

So whilst you obviously hope for a firmware update program you have no right to expect one or indeed support from this forum.

Ugh this is a bad news.
It seems that there is a SUNO representative here around, can he confirm this?
Will we ever receive an upgrade or not.
I'm happy with my SUNO and had no problems apart from the initial installationi since the manual is badly written and it took a bit to understand how to set the device and received little help from support.
But since I have to advice a friend on buying a NMT would like to know what to advice.
If no firmware than ... maybe better something supported.
