DLNA Server function and Optical Digital Out
Hello
I would like to know if Popcorn Hour can be used to stream video (especially the ISOs stored in NMT) to PlayStation 3. PS3 says its a DLNA client. I have a Mediagate right now which doesn't work with PS3 and I want to replace it with NMT if can stream video to PS3. Also doesn the NMT have a Optical Digital out or only Coax Digital out? Just curious... are you trying to get video playback through your PS3 which is in one room where the NMT is in a different room? I mean, cause otherwise, you could just playback using the NMT itself....
Are you like trying to get the benefit of having two NMTs in two rooms, without buying two? Insert here some witty quote or observation. |

I have the NMT in one room and the PS3 is in other room. So to your question, yes I am trying to get video playback through PS3 which is in another room.

It should work fine as long as the files are in a format the PS3 Supports.
If not you need something more powerfull like a PC to transcode the files to the format that the PS3 Supports. |
