The new version of the tool is out now.
![]() Added in this release:
Download here: http://mediaplayersite.com/YAMJ_GUI_Config NOTE: You must be using r1252 or later with this version because of changes to the nmtpath in that revision.
(You could just edit the My_Library.xml file and swap nmtpath for playerpath too)

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
Thanks Omertron. It think I speak for many who are only able to use YAMJ because of your GUI config. Good Work
One question though, can you use GUI Config to point YAMJ to multiple directories? (e.g. Internal HDD, and Network Drives) |

Good WorkYes, just press "Add" and then enter another "library" and add again. Then save as normal. Becareful, because although YAMJ will scan the different locations, if they are shares, you won't be able to play videos from a different share than the one you have mounted. I live in hope that the multiple mount bug is fixed soon. http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=12569 |

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
The GUI Config just creates the my_library.xml and My_YAMJ.CMD files.
Once you have those, to re-run YAMJ just double click the My_YAMJ.CMD file. |

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
Right after I run the GUI, I run the cmd, and it creates a jukebox and index file on my istar, and it works. I then close the yamj file on my computer, add another movie to my internal drive on the istar. When I go back to the yamj folder and attempt to run the cmd, it doesn't work. The xml icons are also gone from the xml files. I delte them, re-run gui, and say yes to open the folder where the files were output. I can then run the cmd again. If I don't close the yamj folder, it will continue to work. Once I close the file, right back to square one. Any ideas?

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
Good work Omertron.
Does this also let you set what you want the output directory to be named? Or do I still need to set that in the "moviejukebox.properties" file ... such as .... # name of the details directory of the jukebox mjb.detailsDirName=Video Jukebox |

You should be saving them with the YAMJ program files and not in the jukebox output directory. E.G. if you movies are in C:\Videos\Movies, use explorer to create a share to C:\Videos, and name it "Videos" Map a network drive to that share (this will be used later in the GUI) Then on the NMT, go to set-up, Network Share, Browse, and browse your network until you see the computer and share name Then give it a name. Run the gui, choose the network drive you created earlier Select "on an network path" Enter the IP address of your NMT The drop down list should populate with your NMT share name Select Add, Save Run (double click) the generate My_YAMJ.cmd file |

In my case, I have an Internal HDD (in my PC) , that I have set to Share with the name "F" ( as it is my F: drive ). The NMT Path I get is: file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/SATA-750/ SATA-750 is what I called the share on my NMT. The URL in NMT for this share is: smb//ANTEC/F ( ANTEC is the name of the PC the HDD is installed in ) "Location of where you want the jukebox to be stored" I am browsing ( My Computer, F: ) to my internal HDD in my PC, then all I see in this field is: F: Show me the way please, OB1 !

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
Looks, ok, what's the issue?
You select the path where the videos are stored in the top directory (F ![]() Choose the network path option, then "SATA-750" Click Add If you want to change the default location where the jukebox is installed, in this case it'll store it in F:\ then you can do this now BEFORE you save Click Save Choose the directory where YAMJ is installed Then open the directory and double click the My_YAMJ.cmd file. |

Just to check with you, does all my movies must be in this directory as below or could be in sub folders? Code: option #1 |

RE: [YAMJ] GUI Config Tool v0.4
Doesn't matter, the directories are recursivley scanned for all files.
In your example, if those are multi-part videos you need to name them as here: http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wi...PartVIdeos so that they are picked up correctly |
