RE: [A100] Firmware 01-17-090116-15-POP-402 (00-17-090115-15-POP-402 Apps)
Thanks for this great firmware update, esp the auto framerate sync as i no longer have to go into my settings
when going from MKV's and PAL/NTSC DVD's. Have set it to 1080p@60 and Auto sync to PAL/NTSC/24 and all is super smooth playback . I did have a problem with one MKV not playing called Wolf Creek it is encoded at 24fps and not 23.976 so i thought that may be the problem, so tried another 24fps MKV and that played fine went back to Wolf Creek and now that plays back fine too. Also the Bookmark/resume feature is a great new add. Once again many thanks.

There is no resume function in dvd files?
Stop closes the dvd completely, so nothing changed? |

RE: [A100] Firmware 01-17-090116-15-POP-402 (00-17-090115-15-POP-402 Apps)
Werner,
Just going by the info page - the auto framerate synch generalises 23.976 and 24 framerates together - and only says outputs at 24 fps. Can you confirm that it actually differentiates these and plays them differently? For instance: does 23.976 play as 23.976 and 24 as 24 OR does it speed 23.976 up to 24 fps OR does it not differentiate these two framerates at all and they are both treated as 24fps? Awesome firmware release by the way. Thanks for everyones' work in the beta stages. |

RE: [A100] Firmware 01-17-090116-15-POP-402 (00-17-090115-15-POP-402 Apps)
23,976 plays as 23,976 and 24 as 24, that was also an Reson why we made the info showing 23,976 24p right side shows only 24p but output is 23,976, the reason for this is because we wanna make the setup hopefullysoon more clear for normal users.
So the plan is to remove some confusing framerates like 23,976 and let only stay 24p, but 24p will then use both 23,976 and 24,000, but many users are confused about 23,976, if you look on TV's you never will see an 23,976 info they write everytime 24p.(01-21-2009 02:22 PM)Woodhead Wrote: Werner, ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syabas Technology Inc. I didn´t get the resume to work. I startet an dvd.iso and skipped a couple of chapters forward. Stopped the movie and after that pressed enter and the movie started from the beginning. Do I have to activate the resume function or something? |

No Joost2, I didn't misunderstand the resume function. Resume function simply doesn't work in dvd's (folder VIDEO_TS). After pressing stop I have to go through all introductionmovies, warnings etc again. |

Resume does not work for DVD structures - only for single file playback

Resume is such a basic function to have. I would have assumed that after all this time you would implement a full fledged resume function across all files and not just single playback. I am disappointed .Cheers, Vish |

The "fix" for the DirecTV HR2x was apparently to allow UPnP to crash when it receives unexpected data from the DirecTV box. I then no longer have access to PlayOn, or any other UPnP server.
Are there plans to fix the DirecTV interaction as opposed to covering it up at the loss of functionality? TV: Samsung DLP 61'' Mediaplayer: NMT C-200 Receiver: Integra DHC-40.1 Speakerset: Vienna Acoustics/REL sub (5.1) Remote: Harmony One |
