B-110 - SATA hotswap not working
I have 2 SATA hard drives in my case which detect correctly when I power on my B110. They are detected as sata A1 and B1 if i remember correctly. The problem is if I remove either of them and replace them with another hard drive my B110 does not recognize that there are now different hard drives in place.. When I select the hard drive and try to browse it I cannot as the B110 is trying to browse my original hard drive. If I insert the original hard drives back in all seems ok. I have the latest B110 firmware and have tried various different Sata hard drives. Can anyone please provide some help?

I don't think the Sigma chip supports SATA hot swap, there wouldn't be any reason to.
Normally hot swapping would be done on USB devices.

A110 with 1TB Seagate, PC with 4TB share
Onkyo 606, Celestion 5.1 speakers
Samsung PS58B850

Thanks for your reply. There must be other users that are using the sata ports who can verify this for me. Anyone?

RE: B-110 - SATA hotswap not working
Ok hot swap is not supported on b110. But I was wondering If I could attach those boxes with two harddrives inside, so I can get 3 TB (1.5 + 1.5) of capacity in one case.
I hope I made my self clear on this.
TIA.
