New folders can be created, rename existing files/folders. Version 1.0.1 Beta Features: 1. Extract rar, tar, zip to the current/seperate folder, decompress gz, bz2, Join hjsplit files .001..., 2. Version 1.0.5 Beta Features: 1. Summary Tab has been added in the file properties for media files like .mp3, .mpg, .avi ... etc. 2. You can set the folder type of the current folder (either music/video, default document). You can vew the id3 tags directly in fileman for .mp3 or video properties (dimension) as of now. 3. View SMART details for the HARD Disk using smartctl. 4. Dialog boxes can be closed by pressing Esc key. Confirmation Dialog for Yes or No can be given by pressing y or n 5. UTF-8 encoding enabled, so you can view international filenames. Version 1.0.6 Beta Features: 1. Now you can view any special char file/directory in fileman including &,",',+ and others. RE: File Manager for Networked Media Tank v 1.0.0 Beta
This looks like a handy tool! Good job.
What are the advantages of this tool compared to doing file & folder operations using an FTP client? |

RE: File Manager for Networked Media Tank v 1.0.0 Beta - Released
Sounds good... a bit dangerous to allow noobs access to system files
![]() One request for you and other developers, and maybe excal can try to implement this, is to install this in /share/Apps/fileman/ so that it will become a standard location for all Apps, as per the Community Software Installer project. Personally I would rather use Tools/ instead of Apps/ but whatever as long as we can agree on *one* single sub-folder for all user apps. We don't need to end up with 20 folders inside of /share which are seen when you go to browse HARD_DRIVE. As well, for the CSI please also try to provide a way to 'uninstall' for the users who no longer want to use it. |

Hi,
First of all, great app! Does this work with Syvio NMT? I've tried and the browsing works, but not in the dornload catalog. I get the error message: Incorrect XML and then a second error message: Error type: DataStructure Description: XML reffers to not existing parent Any idea? --> Updated to the latest firmware and browsing seems to be working fine now. --> Urar dont seem to work on my SYVIO |
