Ya its coming along nicely.... Even the g/f is on board with it now, she says she likes it better then the robinsjexcal one already and its still got a lotta graphic works to be done. So thats definitly good news, because she didn't like it before.
The only thing she really doesn't like is the play button on the details page....she says its way to big. Which, to be honest i just tossed it in there just to have it as a test. Its funny the things she notices and gets caught up in. Here i am testing out the scrolling, image changing, fanarts, tabs that change information dynamicly....theres a buncha things not quite done yet that i don't think look very good yet (because they're not done)..that i think are glaringly wrong....but all she cares about is the size of the freaking play button...lol

I must admit that was the first thing I noticed too - But thought you (Excal) had enuff on your plate & I figured I could probally just change it after release date.

That is the difference between wife/gf proof and enthusiast proof... When you can hand it over without directions and you are lucky enough that they "show" other people then you are off and running

Awesome. Finally something that will rival my earlier PC/Meedios setup. I noticed the PLAY button too big also. I would say REMOVE it all together. Hit play when you are on the details page to start the movie. Is that too counter intuitive? |

Eh, i don't think theres a need for a vote. We can always make it a user option in the "Options.xsl" file to have it or not.
Personally i'm cool with not having a play button too. Tho i think it could just be said that the cover still is the link to play the file (with the tvid to the play button on the remote). |

The thing is, how would you then know that the DVD cover was selected? just because nothing else is?
You could have the DVD cover slightly darker, in shadow/have a slightly dark box covering it when it isn't selected? So that there is a definate change when it is selected... |

Would it be possible to not have the cover the play button at all and have no playbutton except play on the remote? So you can just switch through the tabs on the remote and hit play when you want.
