RE: OVERSIGHT no-faffing about "Jukebox" V2 now with dvd cover view (20090506-1BETA)
Hi mrmrmrmr
>> For example for the title "Star.Wars.Episode.IV.A.New.Hope.1977" , it brought a cover of "star wars trilogy" Can you PM me your exact file name. I'll do a scan here to see where it tripped up. >> I have one comment about posters that are being created; they are not very accurate. I know it can get them badly wrong if it makes a mistake, and these are the ones that get peoples attention. But what about the percentage that are correct, are you finding this low. If so there is a really bad problem and could you email me your full log files (in /share/Apps/oversight/logs). It currently is best at searching obscure scene names or very simple names where I see a hit rate much better than 95% I guess. It can have trouble with remakes and 'trilogies' etc. It may struggle with certain names set by the user, esp if the film has commonly used aliases. >> Can we change the source for posters ? Poster source is not changeable yet. I was planning on using thetvdb and themoviedb.org eventually. Unless people have other preferences. (English language for now, as all the searching/scraping is based on that) You can get the correct poster for the film by editing the nfo - but that goes against the no-faffing about ideal - so I better look into it! @sproglet, The one where you replied >>Deleted the beta and put back my backup of the full release. >> File is put in correct folder and correctly named on screen. Or another one
