Also, all the names of the episodes are gone.

What version of Oversight are you running?

The episode names should be displayed under the main title as you move over them. Can you confirm this?

I will make display of the episode titles in the lower half optional. Probably default to off for SD and on for HD.

Same for me. No series/movies description, no plot and name for episodes. Fanart, ratings, series name, and DVD cover are allright.

Please note the episode titles have been moved and are displayed below the title as you tab over them. Can you see these?

I´m on 1026-1b, will try 1028 and report back ASAP.

For people having issues with the tv episode view. There are a couple of tweaks I'll be releasing tomorrow.
In the mean time make sure you have done at least one full scan since upgrading to 20091023-1BETA.

Ok, just made a clean install of 20091028-1b with full scan, but still no plot/name for series or movies.

I was going to send you the scan logs, but I just see the scan goes without any problem, names and plots are being fetched, plot.db it´s populated with all the plots fetched, but it just doesn´t show on the screen, neither on computer nor on TV.

The 20090930-b2 had no plot, but showed episode name and series/movie description without any problem for me, so maybe i´ll use that by now.

Just read that you´ll be releasing a 1029 version, so i´ll wait for that to see how it goes. Anyway, with or without plots I´m sticking to oversight.

I have installed V20091028-1b, after removing the prevous version, and did a full scan. Result: no plots, sorry

I did a full scan with one movie only: 'Everything Is Illuminated.avi' in the folder '/share/Video/Movie'

After the scan the 'plot.db' is empty!

Going further, I can see the description and plot in the homepage source code in my computer, but it doesn´t show on TV and on computer.

Going further, I can see the description and plot in the homepage source code in my computer, but it doesn´t show when I rollover the mouse on the episodes.

Perhaps it´s a problem with my A-110 ? Maybe try to reinstall the applications ? Bellow it´s the part of the source code generated by oversight with the episodes plot:

Thanks for this, Lordy! Works a treat on my HDX, Oversight was easier to set up than the box itself!

One question: how can I help Oversight properly index files? It is missing Red vs Blue (understandable) and others like Red Dwarf, I think. I guess careful naming and using the custom images where that fails? I like seeing the pictures, not text clutter, haha!

I too have an A-110 and have the issue. But HDX users are ok?

Wonder what the differences are on the boxes that could cause the issue.

I've also cleared out and used 1028 and the issue still persists.

TV show episode plots find their way to plot.db
Movie plots and the master plots of TV shows (not individual episodes) are not in any files.

@LexLuthor - If you have upgraded nzbget after oversight, you need to re-install Oversight (you can do this from the admin screen)

@TinyPirate - thanks. You can make an nfo text file with the name name as the media file but the extension .nfo, and in the file put the IMDB id somewhere 'tt1234567'. Then rescan that file (See Wiki - Incremental Scans)

@Sproglet - I'll try to get to the bottom of this. v busy at work at the moment. I'm surprised that the html does not contain the text 'function tv_inf0()' as I changed the code to make sure it gets written. I may have messed up the last release
