Can anyone help me with this problem?
Seems that I cannot get audio for my movies over HDMI... Seems that the problem started when I swtiched to 50mhx rather than 60. When I reverted back, the audio still wouldn't play. Thanks, John |

I am not the person to answer this question but I would guess more detail is needed.
Have you ever gotten audio thru hdmi? what has changed since then? is the pch connected directly to your tv or does it pass thru a receiver first? when connected using component cables, how is the audio connected? ftr...I have my pch connected to my receiver (hdmi) and then to my tv (hdmi) and everything is okay. A-400 connected to Onkyo HT-RC160 via hdmi connected to Samsung 55" C650 LCD C-200 connected to Onkyo 606 via hdmi connected to Samsung 46" 6 Series LCD |

You are still not telling us enough to help.
How are you connected? What devices are you using? What settings have you selected in Setup? What type of audio or is it all audio? A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

PCH is connected directly to TV via HDMI cable.
Audio from DVD player works just fine with the same HDMI cable, so it is prob. not a cable issue. Audio via HDMI/PCH used to work. I tried changing all of the audio settings to all possible settings with no luck. It wasn't until I plugged in the red/white/yellow cables and then re-plugged in the HDMI cables, that I finally got it to work. I have been unable to reproduce it. For the record, I am using the latest firmware. |
