IMPORTANT: Most recent update was done due to changes in v1.7r1282. The latest release is for those using official release v1.7r1282 of YAMJ. There are no real changes in this release except to make it work with v1.7, if you are using the previous version without issue I'd recommend sticking with it for the time being. No major visual changes.

I don't have any SD TV, so I can't help tweaking this skin.
Just wanted to say that your SD perliminary skin, is very nice an could make my tired eyes happy, with it's larger fonts, shorter plot and smaller poster that doesn't occupiy a third of the screen. A HD Version (5152 ??) with this characteristics will be highly appreciated!

I tried this skin today, the "extra" buttons don't seem to show up, either on an SD TV or on a web page view.

Sorry Toast, I was going through old threads to find the handful of people that had asked for an SD version. I 'thought' I saw your signature showing both a HD setup and a 37" SD setup so I included you. Maybe it was someone replying to one of your posts and I copied the wrong name. Appologies.

The extra button was setup for trailers and the hope in the future that we'll be able to add actual 'extras' without having to put 'trailer' tags on them. But essentially the extra button will only show up if you have trailers. Or extras labeled as trailers. Can you confirm you have trailers, if so give us a file name so we can try to figure out whats wrong.

My tests show far look good, except for one thing. When viewing the details of a movie, some of the information at the bottom of the screen is not visible.

I'm attaching two screenshots as an example.

Thanks GizmoDaddy, thats EXACTLY what I needed to see. Will make some changes in the morning. How about the images? In one shot the image appears to go off the bottom of the screen while in the other it appears okay. Do I need to make any change to the poster art?

My tests look good, but I have the same issue as GizmoDaddy, Info is off the bottom of the screen. The side bar on the main screen also seems cluttered with too many genres, and this is with:

# Reduce the number of genres
mjb.filter.genres=true


Apart from, looks great. Ive adjusted the sizes slightly in skin.properties to fit my 32" TV as follows:

background.width=640
background.height=420
posters.width=200
posters.height=300


Height could probably do with another little bit off the bottom, but scrolling is ok, I dont mind that.

I'm did a little tinkering on the SD version, and I've got it looking better on my test TV.

I reduced the size of all graphics in the \html\pictures folder to 70% of their original size. I then reduced the font sizes a little. Here's what I came up with...

UPDATED AGAIN: Fixed weirdness with multipartmoviehandling and default selection. Only three people have downloaded and this is a minor issue affecting only a small group of people so unless you use 'classic' for multipartmoviehandling then don't bother redownloading. After editing? Best guess you're using XML generated with a previous jukebox. Set overwrite XML to true in skins.properties and do a pass. Then set it back to false.
