I don't think so... There are cases where certain mkv files won't play at all, and that's not what this bug is about. This is about the box stop playing 1080p mkv files after a while - it will continue to play 720p mkv files.

Not every time, i have a load of 720p mkv files that weight from 600MB to 8GB that won't play. Avi files play just fine, but mkvs don't, it just returns to the selection screen.

yeah, that's different from this problem (as per the subject heading). You might want to report it in the appropriate a-100 bugs forum.

It is the same, a reboot "fixes" the problem only to reappear later.

I would say, that i've the same problem with the latest firmware without using YAMJ. I play my videos using either SMB or DLNA (upnp). The only solution is to reboot the box, and sometimes, several times...
