Suggestion
May I suggest that we start a NEW buglist for this long awaited new Firmware release?

Fast forward and rewind does not work for some MKV files
Go here: http://www.dattebayo.com/t/ and download Bleach episode 174,175, or 173 and you will see that the video gets out of sync with the audio if you do any type of fast forward.
If you don't do these things it's fine. Why? |

Re: Fast forward and rewind does not work for some MKV files
Pink 21 (Eventual instability with torrents ) could be solved by pitting HDD in slave mode (thanks to Manche)

Download mkvtoolnix here: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/viewtopic.php?t=4817 And then convert the avi to mkv, it's because the audio track contained in the file is not compatible with avi container on the PCH. |

Do you know if this is going to be fixed? Converting to MKV is not an option, since I have this functionality with a PC, I have to imagine this is possible. Anyone know if this is not fixable? |

Is this list still up-to-date? And is there a corresponding list for the A-110 or is it the same one?

2) HDD spins when unit is in standby/idle mode [fixed in April fw]
I still have this problem in my 2 A-100 with 01-17-090201-15-POP-402-000 April firmware. When I go to stand by a few minutes latter the PCH will wake up and the disk will start spinning. |

RE: *README* Official PCH A100/myiHome Buglist [updated May 17]
I too would like to report that the FW has not fixed my issue with the harddrive spinning when in standby/idle mode. My PCH A-100 is from one of the first batches.

RE: *README* Official PCH A100/myiHome Buglist [updated May 17]
I'd like to bring up again that PCH often is still not playing Stereo AC3 Sound with a bitrate >192kbps - I captured a lot of concerts with Stereo sound an I can't play it. PCH says it's DTS - but's absolutley not (I know it, MediaInfo and VLC are showing AC-3)
This problem exists with both Passthrough and internal decoding CHfish |
