Please Help!! spent all night on MyIhome and cant see pictures
This is driving me crazy. I have read practically every post on here and it seems no one has had the same problem.

Well after managing to set up my videos and music files, for some wierd reason I cant now view my pictures.

Have internal HDD but pictures are on PC with wired Ethernet. set up Myihome to pont to the pictures directory, and on the PCH can see the folders clearly, and their subfolders too if I double click on them.

When I hit enter on a particular folder, the little spinning thing goes round and round for a few minutes and then kicks it out back to the directory view. If I highlight the folder and press play, the screen goes black and seems to hang and after what seems a lifetime, either kicks back out to the directories or just says that this cant be completed.

I tried unistalling Myihome, even cleaning out the registry for a new install, and have restarted the PCH and PC a few times but still the same.

I have installed YAMJ and oversight (thinking to take YAMJ off) and the music through Music Jukebox. They work fine.

I can play music through the Myihome too.

I am at my wits end so any help would be mostly appreciated.

Have you installed MyiHome 5.14 ?
If yes, this version is bugged : No slide show possible :

I had the same problem.
RMAed the PCH-A110.
Support replaced main board.
Now it works properly.

RE: Please Help!! spent all night on MyIhome and cant see pictures
I'm amazed that support replaced a board when the only issue is that it could not display a photo via a http serving app from a PC.Huh

Anyway, I used to suffer from the loading wheel/clock running round and round etc. and it was due to java having problems with Vista x64 on my setup.

Look at what your OS is and make sure that you have the java version that myihome installs as opposed to a later one. Also look into compatibility changes for java.
There never used to be a x64 version of java available when myihome was first launched. I think someone said the other day that there now was but that Vista x64 owners should still use the x86 version.

Make sure your firewall or AV app is allowing myihome to launch java and that both have full access to your network. The spinning clock means java's having problems somehow.
