EDIT: Nevermind. I fixed it.
I'm using a small 27" regular analog TV that im streaming to (yeah I know a waste of pch features.. but its the only TV I have) I'm having a problem now that I am having to scroll over these pre designed skins/themese because the images and fonts are designed for 720 and 1080 i guess im running 480 ?? Any suggestions? |

I had change my default port from 19000 to something else in the popcorn hour setup. So I changed that in the conf file. make sure you notice the difference in the ROOT settings. they are different for E:\ and E:\Folder\

So the other problem, with the skinsize/format, is not fixed?

No, that issue is not fixed
I'm guessing i will have to edit the pixel dimensions of the *.jpg file to force the image not to scroll.. however I'm still not sure how to change the text size/font or any of that to fit onto my screen. I've tried using Adobe Contribute to load the HTML files and edit it with a WYSIWYG format, but for some reason it with the pathing of the files or the way the index is written it is not picking up all the files like it should. I wish I would have taken up coding or web design as an elective.

llink startup script internal hdd
dc11ab Wrote:Then it's time to make a startup script if you want it to launch on boot. I wonder how to launch llink on boot. How does a startup script for llink look like and where should I put it on the PCH? Can anyone give me an example? |

I think there are some examples at lundmans wiki: the Linux installation guide (for Debian-ish distros) and one in the Synology NAS part (modified Busybox).

RE: llink install guide
Ok old thread, long story short I got llink to work, and it's been running fine (without openssl), for a good couple of months.
Fast forward to yesterday, tried to install the latest version, and I am getting an error at the "make all" stage, does the latest version have new dependencies? Hmm reading up, it could be libdvd. |

Yes, since v2.0.3 (err... or somehting like that) you'll need both libdvdread and libdvdcss to compile the lot. # libdvdread sources are libdvdread-0.9.7.tar.bz # libdvdcss sources are libdvdcss-1.2.9.tar.gz http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/Llink#SOURCES Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. RE: llink install guide
Sorry, there is a line in request.c, near the end that calls dvdvread_send_data(), this should not be there when you don't compile with libdvdread, you can just delete the line.
Will be gone in 2.1.2 |
