Bad Region error when playing DVDs
Newbie here, so please be kind. I have an A110, external WD 1TB HDD, external DVD/CD Player/Burner. The player plays all sorts of DVDs when connected to my PC (i.e., store bought ones as well as my homemade ones). On my A110, only my homemade DVDs play. The store bought ones result in an error that says "Bad Region". Found nothing on-line regarding this, but hope someone has a suggestion. I'm hoping I don't have to rip them to disk to play. Would much prefer just occasionally playing them directly off the DVD player. Thanks in advance.

RE: Bad Region error when playing DVDs
That's a major bummer. But I guess that's what I have to live with. Thanks a lot for saving me a lot of time researching this further.
