What are your two SHOWSTOPPER problems with your A110?

Hmmm... alright I suppose you have a point. I didn't really consider third parties out there selling this on the street. It really shouldn't be given to unsuspecting consumers -- everyone should have the chance to decide if they're willing to put the additional effort into it.

As for the commercial market, I'm not sure. Sony makes MP3 players, afterall. They won't do it NOW, that's for sure, but in a few years, who knows?

Hmm, I don't remember seeing a warning anywhere saying "just in case you didn't realize, this is a BETA product - expect to have issues" when I was ordering mine. And to me, beta means before it's available for sale to the general population. Granted, I did see one review saying (after all the reasons why it's awesome) that it still seems like a work in progress - but seeing as how this was an old review, I thought that for sure the issues would be ironed out by the time, if not shortly after, I bought it.
Oh, and to me 1.0 isn't beta - usually 0.x is indicative of that. But perhaps it's because I'm judging this all from the software prespective...

No offense, I love my PCH, but I can't really recommend it to my friends who aren't gadget freaks and IT experts because otherwise they might keep coming to me with their problems or frustrations or disappointments (unless they don't mind just doing basic things like playing AVI files and the occasional MKV off the installed hard drive, and having just a plain interface with folders etc. - something which not a whole lot of products out there offer now anyway).

1. Simultaneous output on HDMI and Composite outputs
2. Scaler for low resolution content: DVD (480p) upscale to 720p or 1080p.
3. Dolby True HD decoder to PCM channels.

I love my PCH... Here are my top two improvements that I'd like to see

1: Increase the fast forward speed (32x would be great)
2: When connecting multiple items to the USB ports I have to reboot the PCH. (e.g. thumbdrive and external drive) It would be nice if that did not happen.

1) Gapless music playback required ... Didnt notice this until recently playing an album from the early 70's where musicians liked to run songs into one another.
Now it really bugs me that ..

2. Wireless USB with fixed IP looses it's IP settings after cold-start/USB slave
