Bad quality sound streaming music

If i stream music with myihome from my pc or from internet radio de quality of my sound is realy bad, every movie or watching tv everything is alright. anybody got a clue

internet radio are highly compressed 96-128kbit mp3 while movies are 448-1500kbit AC3/DTS - theres a world of difference in source quality and how they sound.
if your own music are also compressed mp3 or similar - then they will also have lower source quality

If you don't use a receiver then check your volume setting for the NMT.
Set it to "0" and use the TV to adjust the volume.

If you need a high quality internet radio stream to test, then try out ETN.fm Ch.2 Progressive (256kbit ABR).

i use a receiver and the mp3's i listen work good on my iphone or pc. What do you suggest better quality mp3 or wav files?
