won't play in full screen
newbie here and need help.
Just bought a NMT A110 a day ago, and update to the latest firmware. Connect NMT with my samsung 46" lcd 120Hz. No matter how I set up, it would not play in full screen. Play media thru the external HD (fujitsu). Any help from experience is much appreciated.

RE: won't play in full screen
What won't play in full screen?

The user interface, menus?
A movie? or TV show?

What exactly do you mean by full-screen?

RE: won't play in full screen
johnybg - sorry but you are not helping us to help you

you need to supply much more information - we are not psychics and cannot see whats going on in your home Smile

We need you to supply us with full information about how the pch are connected to your screen, and what video settings etc are chosen on the PCH - and we need full information about the files which does not play in full screen - use media info in textview mode to gather information from the file and copy/paste the result into the thread.

http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net

And what exactly do you mean by "full screen" - you do realize that most movies are not full screen movies, but have 2.35 aspect ratio thus have a black bar on top and buttom of the screen ?

Posting a photo of what you see as wrong are allways helpfull.

Living room: C200/A200/A100 HDMI to Pioneer KURO KRP-500A plasma / Denon AVR 3808 / KEF 5005.2 / B&W DM685
Kids room: C200/A110 HDMI to Panasonic 42PZ85, Optical to Logitech Z5500.

I use HDMI cable to connect to PCH and in PCH video setting I set like this: video output: 1080p/60HZ, Framerate : off, Video Zoom: Fit to Screen, TV type: 16:9. When play video from ext. HD (video source (dvdrip) dl from NG) there're black bars on top, bottom and both sizes of the TV screen. Maybe aspect ratio from source (dvdrip which I dl) is different. Hope this help a bit.

RE: won't play in full screen
Those black bars are supposed to be there because the movie's aspect ratio is wider than 16:9. That is the best way to watch those movies.

He's getting windowboxing, not just letterboxing.

Zooming on the remote will probably fix the OP's problem, but he can't seem to be bothered to provide the requested information.

Format your hard drive and install NMT apps in 10 minutes or less!
