[Audio] MKV with Flac via Optical not working

Hi all. One more newbie here

I have a new 110 with an internal 1tb hdd, conected to a 40" LCD via HDMI and with an optical to a Harman.

Everything sound and look great except for this one:

I'm playing it from the internal hdd and the video looks perfect. help please!

Convert your FLAC to AC3 or other audio that is accepted in an MKV, FLAC is only supported as a music file.

You could await an update of my PopCorn MKV AudioConverter with support for FLAC audio - it is in the planning stages...

If anyone has (or can produce) a small sample file with multi-channel FLAC audio so that I have some file(s) to experiment with, it would speed up the process...

Many, many tools are available to do this. Most of them are front-ends for a handful of popular free tools that actually do the hard work.
