Hello how do you switch the player off from the remote (stop the harddrive) and then power up from the remote? If you press the powerbutton on the remote to turn off the harddrive still spins and gets stupidly hot

Well it depends on why the HDD is still spinning, do you still have any torrents running? the powerbutton will stop the HDD so long as there is nothing going on.
disable any apps that you don't use, torrents, casgle etc. these can cause HDD spinups when in standby. |
