What am I doing....
I downloaded the firmware on 6/5 thinking it is a minor update... until my colleague in China sending me a email saying: "Howard, what are you doing? Isn't this what you are waiting for? Why are you so quiet?" Yes... after answering so many emails saying HDX 1000 should have the dts downmixing support in the first half of 2009, I actually overlook the item 15 in the firmware releasing notes: "15. DTS 2-Channel downmix Support". How stupid am I...  Anyway... I'm glad Alex, Sam and Wood can keep the promise this time. Good Job! Thanx Alex, this will especially please my kids, who can operate the HDX without any problem but find it difficult to use my hometheatre receiver.

Great job. Now I can play HD movie without using my receiver.
especially for Indonesians HD lover, lots of user do not have digital receivers. so it was terrible to now that DTS could not play in common LCD TV. But now all is change. thanks alot for all the teams... |
