RE: audio crashing
There were no rearrangements in power cables. No other devices connected to PCH powerbrick.
Wall socket is grounded (UK socket), but not all appliances are grounded. I have now initiated tests suggested by SirNickity. I have now disconnected network cable and I will only be playing content from USB pendrive for the next couple of weeks. I have the option to connect PCH to a different TV in a different room if necessary. I will now see how it goes for the next couple of weeks. I will follow up in here when I have some news. |

RE: audio crashing
So I disconnected network and I was only using PCH with USB source. It worked great for two weeks. Not one single crash for two weeks, and I was using it several hours daily. But then it crashed. And since then it has been unstable like never before. Now I'm no longer able to watch an entire movie without crashing. Now it will often crash on main screen shortly after boot. And that happens even with USB source disconnected.
I kind of gave up now using PCH weeks ago. I'm now playing content with my Philips DVP3250 DVD player. It plays all the content without any problems at all. I think it's time now to give RMA a try. |

RE: audio crashing
Agree.... explain it to PCH support and either they solve it or replace it.
Good luck. PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB, 2 Seagate Central 4TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

RE: audio crashing
I got a replacement motherboard. After two weeks of intensive usage I must say everything looks very fine.
I'm playing from SMB share without any problems now. |
