Feature request:
Is it possible to implement some TVIDs to directly jump to the tabs in the menu.
E.g. you could use the colored keys + a key for the Playlists tab.

I changed that display for "Track Time", it can be changed with tracktime in the language file. Is there a place where this pattern is not applied?

Yes in fact, I was trying to find an easy way to map buttons to different parts of the interface. But you're right, whil I figure something easy to configure, I should map the colored buttons to the listing categories.

I was wondering, honestly how do you find the new album view? I know it's kinda slow because of Javascript, but is it an upgrade to the previous view?

Yes, it is a little bit slow, but i like it anyway and the choice to use both options is great!

About "Track Time":

Good that the album cover name is now configurable, but my initial point was that I have both 'Folder.jpg' and 'folder.jpg', so it would be good if it was case insensitive.

Also, still getting a blank line for the first entry in 'Artists' and 'Albums'. Does anyone else experience this?

You can now change it in mpdjb.conf, replace "folder.jpg" with "Folder.jpg". I'll have a look at to why you have blank lines, I thought I fixed this by writing Unknown Artist or Unknown Album when there's empty tags but I may has stripped this without knowing it.

But then I either get the 'Folder.jpg' album covers or 'folder.jpg' album covers, not both. I have a mixture of the two. Anyway I have renamed them now, but still think making it case insensitive would help others.

One more thing...

I liked the old album view. I used to be able to specify a number of rows and columns in the album view, and had it looking perfect on my TV. Has this option disappeared now as it always seems to show 2 rows of 8 albums now, with quite a lot of blank space inbetween...

Yep.
I changed one name of a folder and now I only have a blank line in 'Artists'. The old name of a folder was 'Bløf', changed it to 'Blof'. So it looks like a character problem.
Searched the database of MPD for 'strange' characters in 'Artists'; they all seems to be shown in MPDJB...

I cannot change "Albums"


There is a pattern and I changed it to "Alben",

"albums" => "Alben",

but I think this is only for the amount of albums shown in the top left corner.

You could be on to something there. I have a few strange characters in my Artist and Album names (from where I copied the files over from a Windows box). I will try fixing them and rescanning the files.
