RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
The now playing page works only when on the the jukebox right?
but if one has a php based indexpage can the now playing page be implemented on that? also found this: http://daemondiaries.wordpress.com/2008/...sd-2-ways/ ill check the source on first page

(06-24-2009 06:36 PM)ToRrES Wrote: Thanks for the new version! This is mostly happening because the old config wasn't updated. You need to Reset the config via the setup page or simply delete the folder tmp in the MPDJB directory. I will add a note on the first post about this. RiChaDo, I think there would be no problem, the now playing page has no dependency on the index, so it can run standalone by launching it via a .html. |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hi,
Thanks very much for the SD version. It is now usable for us poor backwards people . Initial observations:The font is very small in SD mode, would it be possible to make the font size configurable? The control icons at the bottom of the 'Now playing' page are off the screen to the right. Oh, just spotted something else. The album art seems to be case sensitive. It like 'folder.jpg', but not 'Folder.jpg'. Any chance this could be relaxed? |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hi, this application is by far the best music jukebox I have come across, I've been using it for a short while now and intend to use it over the weekend because I'm having a party.
Just one question, am I right in thinking that nothing is actually "installed", so if I want to use the new version the only thing I need to do is delete the MPDJB completely and start again? Thanks again. |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
This is a brilliant application! It is far better than the "built in" player, especially the gapless playback which makes live recordings via A-110 now enjoyable.
Could you add a button to refresh the MPD database? I had to refresh with Minion to see all files. Many thanks Lenny |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Love it, love it, love it
![]() Just one thing... Is there a simple way to make folder browse last in category list, not first? Because on my TV folder browse doesn't display well in 3 columns view, but Artist browse does... Also, is there a way to add some lyrics fetcher plug-in to display lyrics on Now playing page (ok, maybe this is too much, but it would be nice )Something like: http://gmpc.wikia.com/wiki/GMPC_PLUGIN_LYRICWIKI or http://gmpc.wikia.com/wiki/GMPC_PLUGIN_LYRICS or http://gmpc.wikia.com/wiki/GMPC_PLUGIN_LYRDB Thank you once again for your work! RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Hello,
Looking to try this out, but I have a couple questions first. In the first post it mentions ExtendedGayaExtended, does this have to be installed first? I am assuming that once installed, I will lose my current interface to MJ7? Is there a way to get back to that one, if I want? Will there be an issues controlling MPD the way I currently do, from minion in firefox? Thanks, Chris |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
I was waiting for an app like this one since I had my A110.
THANKS A LOT!! There are maybe few things that might be improved (for exemple, I think album arts are way to small when you're in Now playing) but it's just great the way it is now. I mean it! |

Also, there should be no problem if both jukeboxes are installed because they live independently in different folders. It should work fine. I could probably make it larger in the SD version, but I kept a size of 500px*500px in the HD version because that is usually the size the covers are on Amazon. There was only one comments about this so I have a question for those of you who use the SD version, are the fonts too small on your TV? I would like your opinions before changing it. Thanks for your comments! Joel |

RE: MPD JukeBox (MPDJB)
Just made a new version, here's the changelog:
v1.2 (2009-06-27) - Improvements to the SD version - Corrected view when numbers of rows/columns are changed, it will now display correctly when row number is changed - Made interface fonts bigger for both SD and HD theme - Added an option to update MPD library - Corrected miniplayer offset in NowPlaying page in the SD theme - Enlarged Album Art image size in Now Playing page - Removed item numbers (there was too much elements on the interface and this was causing weird display behavior when too much elements, ie more than 30 items in listing, can now have up to 48 items in listing) - Added icons to items in listing (to replace line numbers) |
