Help No Video!!
I'm trying to setup my new A-110 that just arrived a few hours ago...

Couldn't get video on HDMI (would get PH logo while booting up, then it goes black.) So in order to get things setup at first, I hooked it up using the S-video port to a different port on the TV. I read the sticky that said to not leave it on AUTO, so I changed it to 720p50. Then everything went black.

1st I went into the web interface for the video settings and set it back to AUTO there. That didn't work even though when I go back to the web interface it shows video set to AUTO.

Then I tried using TV mode on the remote, first hitting TV Mode + 0, and also tried TV mode + 7. Neither of those worked either.

Then I went into the web interface again, and went to the maintenance page and clicked on 'Reset to factory settings'. That didn't work either. I also hit the reset button on the front panel (which also didn't work).

Note - I have an older Toshiba (57HDX82) that uses DVI for input. specs here: http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/tacpassets-i...2_spec.pdf

What else can I try?

RE: Help No Video!!
Since you are US based Im guessing your screen do not support PAL but only NTSC - and by setting output to 720p50 you are selecting a PAL output.
Hook it up with s-video again, set it to 720p60 and turn of the framerate synch option.

Living room: C200/A200/A100 HDMI to Pioneer KURO KRP-500A plasma / Denon AVR 3808 / KEF 5005.2 / B&W DM685
Kids room: C200/A110 HDMI to Panasonic 42PZ85, Optical to Logitech Z5500.

PLEASE READ THE WIKI

How do I do that? I don't get any video signal on s-video (or composite for that matter), and using the remote to set the TV Mode doesn't seem to work either.

RE: Help No Video!!
I just tried connecting it to a computer monitor, which didn't work either. Sad

RE: Help No Video!!
Follow the instructions here:-
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...hp/TV_Mode

There have been problems with Toshiba TV's before so stick with composite/s-video only presently. You want tvmode (press once and release) wait 1-2 secs press '1' and release. Wait 20 secs to see if it has been picked up. Try again if not.

Once you have recovered to an accepted video resolution then consider what Spawn has said and change settings on the NMT before trying to connect via DVi again.

A computer monitor will not work.

Yup, did that about 100 times...

However, I got it working late last night. Not sure what did it, but I went and hooked up the composite (after saying many curse words), and lo and behold, the screen appeared. I changed the resolution to 1080i60 and it's working like a champ.

Oh, and the computer monitor did work. Looked very crappy though. Smile

RE: Help No Video!!
The computer monitor would not have worked when recovering the video output. What picture you get outside of that I wouldn't know as I don't know the spec.

Glad it is all sorted and that you are not having any problems with video resolution/DVi etc. any longer.
