Simple question: Does A-100 work with PlayOn?
I tried it 6 months ago to make the A-100 work with PlayOn and gave up since it was too buggy and painful. Does the A-100 work nowadays with PlayOn?
I can't easily find an answer to this question from the forums. |

Works but sometimes you have to try several times to bring up your queue. I would suggest that you have the queue up before the rest of your movie watchers gather - otherwise you might be embarrased by the many attempts you have to make to get to there..
Not perfect but this Netflix service is an incredible value and I hear trial users can get the playon software now for only $20!! Yes. It works. I use it everyday. I watch YouTube, Netflix and Hulu with it. I also use the OPLM plugin.

I've been using it since February and it works but not always without a reboot. However I have that problem with the PCH in general. I love what the PCH can do but I wish it was less susceptible to glitches.

i dont think it does really
i just tried it today and it brings up my queue just fine, buffers and then says can not play i reboot both pch and puter several times... no go! unfort tversity doesnt either. i think its a hulu thing. they hate these things! i bought pch100 just to play hulu too! |

hmmmm, seems like i used it just a few days ago. Just another reason for going with a HTPC. I'll try again tonight.
.... and my findings are:I'm not having any luck with it either. What a shame, why do they block it? Maybe because when I view it from the PCH I'm not subjected to their sponsors?

When I use PLAYON through my A100 I am only able to watch 1 "program". Then if I try to watch another I get "no media found." I must reboot after every "program." If I watch Playon through my DirecTV DVR's it works fine.
