[Audio] Can I use this system for 5.1 on the Popcorn NMT?

I'm thinkig about buying the following for my NMT:

LG HT353SD 5.1 Home Theatre Kit

It says it has 5.1 sound but I want to make sure it will play this from the NMT and not just from the included DVD player.

Can anyone with more knowledge confirm if this would be ok?

Im afraid not - as far as I can see it does not have any compatible optical digital inputs allowing DD/DTS decoding from external units.

This is what you should look for and ensure.

If you are looking for a not to expensive set with optical input and with DTS decoders, i think your cheapest choice will be a Samsung. Like the HT-Z210 or the HT-TZ212. Look on Kelkoo.
