This release fixes a couple of bugs found in Release 8 and is a recommended upgrade.

Here is the Beta for Release 8.2. This includes many bug fixes and enhancements.

Some of the enhancements are;
-Ability to remove the genres list from the index pages to a separate Genres page.
-Ability to select which page to display on startup.
-Default skin can display album publisher, album music file type (MP3, FLAC, etc) and album bitrate images on the album detail pages.

I was not using 7 version since a few older betas so i´m waiting for the final release to jump from 6.5 to 7, the question is if you know that some of the multi addition changes can affect in some way to the meow skin, especially on the detail.xls file ?? (i think meowmoo was using a 7beta when working on the skin so i suppose it´s not affected, but don´t sure).

I completely uninstalled previous versions and created files on my PCH drive and installed the latest version. Two errors:

First run of this version I get: "Exception Changing Skin: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Once I've defined paths and generated files subsequent loadings of the program don't give this error.

Also, first run gave me an error about pictures folder (sorry, forgot to capture the exact error). Subsequent runs are ok. I assume it's looking for a "pictures" folder that didn't exist yet?

Yes got same 2 errors here.

Files are on a NAS in a folder called 'music'. PCh has a share called 'music' that links to the folder on the NAS. Output is going in a folder on my PCH HDD called 'Music Jukebox'.

Subsequent runs do not give any error messages.

I can get the GUI up and going but there are no folder_small.jpg files displayed

Also, when i click on a file to play or even random play, the screen goes blank and then it ruturns to where i was with nothing being played

...what's worse, it has crashed my M31B when I deleted it

I have reloaded the latest firmware abd rebooted, but it still doesnt work. When I select a movie, the just goes blank screen.

R7 should not affect the Meow skin. If you are having trouble, try adding HTMLENCODE to your MusicJukebox.xml file and set it to False. Some of the Javascript used in the skin isn't compatible with the HTML encoding generated by MJB.

Hi again.
Generated from scratch with the new version. Tried with and without the HTMLENCODE tag. It seems to all is working fine in both cases, but i have a little issue: The time length song on the detail album pages it´s not showed anymore. The same using the default skin, so i suppose you deleted that info ??

You are right, never noticed. It was not supposed to disappear. I will fix for next release. Thanks for pointing it out...

Hi i have a bit of a problem.

The day before the final release came i installed betaversion of mjb7.

When i go to a specifik album index no track names shows, only some squares.
It play fine.
I tried to go back to 6.5 again but the same problem, and the vers.7, and still the same
I did delete the menu folder before instaling

WHY??????

Great App

What skin are you using? Try settings skin to Default, select Delete All HTML and try again. Let me know...

Yes I have rerun MJ7 a few times now and it generates the background but that is about it. No covers, no tracklist, and when selecting a track no file plays.
I do not have covers in my music folders they are embedded in the ID tags. Wondering if its a setting I've missed?
