No covers, no tracklist, and when selecting a track no file plays. Is your library FLAC or MP3 (I seem to be having trouble with some FLAC files)? |

Hmm I get covers but no song titles, using default theme. I get yellow boxes where there should be song number and the title of the song.
I also have some missing icons top right, I have the Home icon but no others. I'll reboot and clear cache etc. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Music Jukebox Release 7 Download and Installation
I initially had similar issues of just boxes, no song titles, only a couple icons. Deleted the files (song files and pictures files) and regenerated all (now with a pictures folder) and all are present now. Seems to be an issue with no pictures folder existing when initially generating files.

Yes I also have a feeling that it is related to the picture.png error message on install.
I have used the delete html option and tried again but no difference, I'll delete ALL content in the MJ output folder and redo. Here's what im currently seeing:- ![]() ![]() Here is what is in the pictures folder in my Music Jukebox output picture folder:- ![]() Deleted and ran and got error messaage 'cannot find picture/close.png' However on the plus side got all my icons and no yellow boxes now, make sure you delete not just the html but everything in your output folder if you have this issue:- ![]() ![]() Looking great many thanks for all your hard work. Now on to try some skins apart from Default. RE: Music Jukebox Release 7 Download and Installation
Not having been used to earlier versions of MJ can anyone tell me where i'm supposed to put new skins?
I've tried creating a folder called 'skins' and putting that in C:ProgramFiles/MJ7/ where MJ.exe is located. I've also tried adding the same folder in the MJ output folder on my PCH. The only choise I'm getting is none or default? Trying the RutagabaMusic skin. RE: Music Jukebox Release 7 Download and Installation
Can this be set up with an internal hard drive only, i.e. you do not need to connect to a pc?

If i already have music on my internal drive, can i set it up this way, or do i have to do it via the pc, then move everything over, if so is there a tutorial..? |

There is a tutorial on the Wiki, located Here. Let me know if you run into any issues. The tutorial does assume you know a little bit about Windows, such as mapping a network drive to the Popcorn Hour... This will tell Music Jukebox to try to read ID3 tags in the FLAC file. I tried this and it works (I replaced the FLAC tags with ID3 tags in some FLAC files, no exceptions). I have added a checkbox for this setting in Release 7.1. I have just posted R7.1, available for download in the first post of this thread. It fixes the exceptions that appear first time you use Music Jukebox and corrects the FLAC file handling issues when the FLAC has ID3 tags instead of FLAC tags. |

I got all other things working now with the <readFLAC>false</readFLAC> Really fine work... :-) |

RE: Music Jukebox Release 7 Download and Installation
Tried 7.1 with "Use all tag info" and the "genre exceptions" (see beta thread) seem to have disappeared. But ... is this setting actually working? I notice that when I restart MJ the setting has jumped back to "For Song Info".
It also seems as if the "artist" is always taken from the folder name, and never from the tag. Is this intentional? |
