I am using yamj-2.7-SNAPSHOT-r3048 with Aeon skin and I have a problem. In the movie details I don´t see genre and staring information, in other cases there is at the begining of the movie name "IMDB".
I downloaded last build of media info, but it doesn´t help.
Please help, thank you.

Delete the xml for the movies that have problems and re-run YAMJ
Getting IMDB at the start of a movie name is a problem which was fixed a LONG time ago and recheck should have updated your movies by now.

I am trying to update my yamj skin to AEon. It appears most files on file upload servers doesnt exist any more. I am looking for: Top250 mod, Studio pack and Flag pack. Could someone please upload these and post the link here?

you may want to check out sabishgt which is basically aeon updated. not saying it has all the things you want but might be close enough to want to use that instead.

aeon has been abandoned for years now. sabish hasn't had too many recent updates although the skinner recently started to do some more with it.

Hi,

I installed YAMJ 2.6.1 and AEON Movie Wall amw28062011
I disabled all categories except "All" and "New" in categories-default.xml
Set the mjb.newdays.movie=3650 in moviejukebox.properties
But no Other_New_1.htm file is generated when running YAMJ.

YAMJ output:
Indexing libraries...
Indexing New...
Indexing Other...
Sorting Indexes ...
Indexing masters...
Writing Indexes XML...
Indexing Other (1/2) contains 3 indexes
Indexing Set (2/2) contains 0 indexes

Somehow the index New is made but none of the movies are matched accordingly.

Is there a way to debug why this is happening?
In my previous AEON wall setup this worked perfectly, rolling back the previous version solves the problem but leaves me with an AEONwall from 2009.

The new index is a combination of new-movies and new-tv, it's not standalone anymore. There's a post around here somewhere or in the wiki on how to combine the 3 into a single new index. It's a yamj thing, not an aeon thing.

I'm not sure i fully understand your answer. I have different configs and directories for movies and tv-shows so i guess splitting should not be an problem. If i look in the raw jukebox directory i don't see any new (split or combined) files.

The example above is scanning my movies dir using my movie config. It reading your answer it should either make a split (1 tv 1 movies) or a combined new right? In my case i get 0 new files.

Do you have any more pointers?

Find the thread I'm refering too, there is a change to new indexes between your really old version and the more updated versions of yamj. I t should have all the info you need on what settings to adjust for exactly what your looking to do.

Just for the sake of completeness, it did not solve my bug but may be it helps someone in the future:

"New" is a superset of New-TV and New-Movies. This way you can control what goes into the New category and how it works.

If new-movies=false and New-TV=false => Category "new" is always empty

If new-movies=true and New-TV=false => Category "new" show only "new-movies"

If new-movies=false and New-TV=true => Category "new" show only "new-TV"

If new-movies=true and New-TV=true => Category "new" show "new-TV" and "new-movies"

You can have different values for movies and TV, e.g. New-Movies=30 days, New-TV=7 days and combine them into 1 category.

If you want just one category called "New" then leave all of them="true" and rename New-TV and New-Movie to "New"

Hey,

I have installed this skin and it all looks good, I can browse through my films but when I want to play one I click enter and it just flashes one and nothing happens.

My films are on an internal HDD in the PCH C-2000. The films play fine if i click on them directly not through the skin.

Anyone have any ideas?
