RE: iSkin - YAMJ Skin for iOS, Android, or any device with a web-kit based browser
Update: One step closer. Ran yamj last night and pointed it to my blank web directory. Told YAMJ to use iskin before running.
YAMJ created an iSkin.html file and an iSkin folder that has an html page, graphics and an xml page for each movie in the movie library that resides on a NAS share. the YAMJ generated files are the only files in the web directory. When I navigate to the iskin.html page using a web browser, it appears as though all the movies are there with the cover art. However, the page is a bit scrambled. Each title has an html link and the cover art for that movie repeats across the page horizontally and it overlaps the cover art for the next movie on the list. I can follow the link to an individual movie page, that page lays out plainly, but legibly with cover art and related info. There is an html link to play, however, when clicked, it does not cause the movie to begin playing on the player. The play link shows the following: href="jnmt.play("file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/movies/17%20Again%20%282009%29.mkv" ">Play It looks like it is trying to call a script to play the movie. The path to the movie is correct. So, definitely closer, but not quite there. I am hoping I am missing an obvious newbie step. Does anyone have any suggestions? |
