There is a skin.properties file. I even downloaded a new iskin again. Deleted the old, copy and pasted the new download. Same error as before. Any ideas??? I am downloading the.8 version linked in the thread. Here is the contents of the skin.properties file in my iskin folder:

Your skin.properties file is fine.

Let's revisit the error message YAMJ is spitting out.

/skin.properties: Please check your configuration. The properties file should be in the classpath.

YAMJ can't find the file "/skin.properties".
It should be looking for "./skins/iSkin/skin.properties", which should be the same as "/mnt/user/Movies/YAMJ/skins/iSkin/skin.properties".

Could it be there's an extra character in your My_YAMJ.sh file causing problems parsing the command line? Here's the command we are worried about:

I am having difficulties inputting entries for multiple skins into my_yamj.sh I want to be able to use both iskin and iskin2. This is how I have been inputting the lines of code:

./MovieJukebox.sh My_Library.xml -o /mnt/user/Movies -D mjb.skin.dir=./skins/iSkin
./MovieJukebox.sh My_Library.xml -o /mnt/user/Movies -D mjb.skin.dir=./skins/iSkin2

If I put the statements in my_yamj.sh like it i listed, iskin is ignored and I can't get yamj to recognize it until I delete my_yamj.sh and only input:

./MovieJukebox.sh My_Library.xml -o /mnt/user/Movies -D mjb.skin.dir=./skins/iSkin

The it will use the iskin so I guess I need to know how to insert both statements into my_yamj.sh

I'm no Linux expert, but I sure can't see anything wrong with what you've done.

One thing to always keep in mind is that Linux is case sensitive, but I don't see any problems there.

I just had a thought. How are you editing My_YAMJ.sh? Are you doing it within a telnet session? Or are you doing it through a mounted network share, using a Windows text editor, such as Notepad? Windows and Linux deal with line endings differently, and that can also cause problems.
Usually you can tell this is the problem if you cat the file in question, and you'll see ^M where the Windows line endings are present.

• Edit the file directly in a telnet session using a Linux editor such as vi

Hello everybody,

At last i´ve got everything working, except..........!
When i try my iphone to open a movie and press play, i´ll get the next message:

My nmt´s ip-adres
nmt.setDevice hasn´t been called

Now i don´t know what to do with this!?
I can´t play or serv my popcornhour c-200 with my iphone.
All i see on my phone, are the movies and details, but i can´t do anything with it......!

Can someone please explain to me, how to solve this?

Did you modify skin-options.xsl and set skin-NMTList as described in the instructions?

Im sorry, today i have for the first time the time to response!
I´ve tried everything what you told me.

Set nmt series on the numbers 1,2 and 3. Nothing....
The list is the same as you described......Nothing....

Still, when i start up my iphone with the iskin app, i can hear my hdd and the movies are displayed in my screen. That all is working fine!

But when i hit the play button, nothing!
Also the remote is not working.

The only thing i can do, is walk trough my videos.

Could you create a .zip file containing your skin-options.xsl file, as well as the generated Categories.html file, then put it somewhere I can download it and provide a link or instructions for me to download it?

edelsmid's issue turned out to be that YAMJ didn't regenerate the Categories.html file after he modified skin-options.xsl.

He deleted Categories.xml and Categories.html, re-ran YAMJ, and iSkin is now working for him.

Thanks a lot for Iskin2, i've been experimenting with it for a week now on my A110 but i have one problem: I can only play files existing of 1 word
e.g.:

if i put the movie contraband in a folder and filename without the year it works
link in iskin2: file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Video/Movies/Contraband/Contraband.mkv works

the same file called contraband (2012) and/or the directory contraband (2012)
link in iskin2: file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Video/Movies/Contraband/Contraband%20%282012%29.mkv DOES NOT WORK

i tried from ipad and using chrome.. in my default skin on tv i don't have this problem
Everything else of ISKIN2 works perfect.. I think it has some kind of problem with the html encoding...

It could be something in the way I deal with Series 1 NMTs (which is different than Series 2 and 3). I may have some time to investigate tomorrow.

I love the Iskin for tablet but I'm currently using it on an Android tablet and I'm having two issues.

1. When I press the magnifying glass I have to put my finger on the area that the drop down should be for the drop down to appear.

2. I noticed when I press on a letter or a category the 6th movie or tv show on the top row sometimes takes some time to show the image ,but. it will eventually show up but it takes a few.

Using either the phone or the tablet version of the skin on a Android phone all tablet seems to have a lag.. Is it because if the OS or does it act the same way on a IPAD?

I really do love the skin just wish it was more android-friendly if that's the case
