Torrent: after a few minutes not able to access UI anymore (NEW phenomenon)
I have a rather new phenomenon with my A-110: the UI for uploading torrent files and view the progress' of a current torren d/l used to work perfect.

Now since a few weeks I have a weird problem happening: the interface (no matter whether accessing it on screen or via http://myip:8883/torrent/bt.cgi) is avaiable only for a few minutes after i startup my NMT. After that i cannot access it.

Stopping and restaring the torrent service also won't help...

does anybody know?

:-o

actually i found out, that it the whole NMT that freezes...

it seems to freeze right after services are being started and NOT related to Torrent anyways... but why is it doing this?

no idea...:-(

Install telnetd, try to connect to the PCH, and if it works run the "top" command to see if there's a high usage of the CPU by a process.

RE: Torrent: after a few minutes not able to access UI anymore (NEW phenomenon)
shortly after booting up, this process is taking up most of my cpu capacity:
../server/php synMusic.php forceSyn

after a while though, cpu usage drops to 1.5% or so but the bloody thing still won't respond to anything Sad
any ideas?

Thanks, at first I had my doubts about whether this would entirely solve my problems, but later I found out that when that odd process was finished, my UI became responsive again. I'll just continu trying to figure out how I can prevent that process from starting up

RE: Torrent: after a few minutes not able to access UI anymore (NEW phenomenon)
guess my problem is still not solved. even after i kill the synmusic process, i still do not get control over my hdx back. after a while, the hard disk stops spinning (blue light remains on), but still no control. no process takes over 1 or 2 percent of cpu usage. another weird thing is that for some reason my web interface for nzbget doesn't work quite often. after I restart the nzb process (nzb stop/nzb start) it works again. seems like some process initiation file is messed up or something? any suggestions??
