Myihome and Showcenter

Hi,
I've been trying Myihome with my Showcenter 200 (with 250 firmware) and so far I'm very impressed. The current version has problems but v 3.5.1 works very well and does everything I need with one exception:-

In slideshow I only have fade to black transition and the duration is only 3 seconds per slide. Changing the duration via the PC has no effect.
I'm quite happy to have a fixed duration and transition but is it possible to edit the control files to give a 10 second default duration and to select another transition.
This must be possible as I can change the transition in Album by pressing the >> key on the pinnacle remote but this has no effect in Slideshow.

Yes Chris but the Pinnacle showcenter is a Syabas OEM design from before the PCH day's. I got an old showcenter 1000 somewhere and remember the huge similarities between that software and the MyIhome solution.

It may run an older version of myihome but that does not make it an NMT.

We also do not want discussions on the older version of myihome confusing this board which is just for the NMT and its versions of myihome.

You might get lucky with llink, WizD and Swisscenter, at least older versions of WizD could work.

Thanks for the help. However the 3.5.1 Myihome has very good interfaces and works very well, apart from the Slideshow. It has a very clear TV display and I would like to use it if possible.

The Pinnacle 200/250 are Syabas based and the latest 250 Firmware is by Syabas so I assumed that the latest syabas software would be compatible. The Syabas site directs users to this site for support and only provides the 3.5.1. version. It doesn't mention PCH so I assumed it was universal.

You should try SwissCenter, it definitely allows you to define the slideshow period and transition effect on the ShowCenter, and a whole lot more...

You may be interested in the way I edit my slideshows:-

I use "Irfanview" in Thumbnail mode.
After putting all the pictures in a new directory I display them in Irfanview thumbnails and then drag and drop then to get the correct order. If you now select all the pictures and right click them you can re-number the pictures to lock them in the correct order and save the slideshow in another empty directory. At the same time you can batch sharpen them if required.
