RE: NetworkMounter 0.1 released on CSI
Do anyone know if it's possible to mount a subfolder placed in a share (using CIFS)? I've had no success with that. For example:
[Music] type = "cifs" path = "/share/Music" share = "//192.168.1.2/MyShare/MyFolder" user = "" password = "" options = "" I have only had success in mounting the actual share: share = "//192.168.1.2/MyShare" However, as i have read through the whole 20 pages in this thread i see many people have mounted subfolders when using NFS, but cannot find one success with CIFS. Is this a limitation in NetworkMounter? |

Brilliant app. Just installed it on my two a-200 with apps on USB. The mounts works flawlessly :-)

RE: NetworkMounter 0.1 released on CSI
Ok, Can someone Please GUIDE me a little bit on how to cope with this Networkmounter? I have read like ALOT of pages but i can not get anything to work:
Situation: - PCH A110 connected with wire to network - Netgear router WNDR3700 with 3 USB disks directly connected to the Router. (i.e. Movies-series-1, Movies-series-2, etc.) - PCH can be seen and accessed in my network (i.e. can browse/ edit the files on the PCH through my laptop) - PCH sees my 3 USB disks when browsing my network from the PCH (movie files play when i browse) - Installed CSI, installed Networkmounter. - If i want to browse my files on the network (3 usb disks) i can go to: //readyshare/movies-Series-1 etc. (i do not know the IP adress), i assume //readyshare should also work? What i have done so far: Prepared an empty folder in the Share map of the PCH named: [Movies1] (in some posts i read i have to amke the folder in the root of the PCH, however i can not prepare a folder next to the share folder (i.e. the \share map is the root i assume?) In the ini file i put the following: [Movies1] type = "cifs" path = "/share/Movies1" share = "//readyshare/Movies-Series-1" user = "" password = "" options = "" Rebooted PCH (by pressing the red button on the back). go to the folder [movies1] Nothing.... As i have read alot of pages i really do not know anymore what to do (so many different items). Can anyone guide me on what i am doing wrong/ what i am missing? My daughter will be very happy when she can start up any movie through a movie wall, when this is ready .Next to this I also have a question: 1: In some posts i read that you post an error message (a log file) which you receive when mounting. Where can i find this, because i feel there is nothing happening on my PCH (i.e. it does not even try to mount)? 2: i do not see any .daemonresult file in my apps/networkmounter folder, does this mean i am doing something wrong? HELP!!
