Remote control: keystroke repeating

I've got a small problem with my PCH remote control: sometimes (most of the time in fact), when I hit a key, it repeats. It's a bit boring because:
- if I hit DELETE one time while changing the IP address, it will erase the whole address.
- it changes the selected file just before I press ENTER
...
It seems occuring less when PCH is running for a few hours.
Anyone got an idea?
I've already removed painting in front of the IR recevier and the protection plastic.

Do you have a W.D 500Gb Hard drive installed? Do you have any HD installed? I ask because a few of us had this problem and we all had the same model of HD. The power ripples from the HD were suggested as the source.

There was a firmware change in March that gives you the option in SETUP to stop allowing repeasts:-
23. added IR Repeat On/Off option

Set it to off.

I dont think anyone have meantioned this before, but that fix actually solved my problem. So I am again a fairly happy owner of a WD 500GB
